Enabling employment and education

We empower people to build lasting stability through education and employment. The Goodman Foundation delivers wraparound support that combines practical skills with personal growth, helping individuals thrive beyond school and work.

In FY25, our funding enabled more than 9,500 people to access education, scholarships, traineeships and employment opportunities, creating pathways to economic security and resilience.

Supporting education

By partnering with influential organisations around the world, including Children’s Ground, Clontarf Foundation and St Kilda Football Club in Australia, Studiezalen in Netherlands, and Shanghai Sunrise in Mainland China, our support has enabled scholarships, mentoring, career guidance, and holistic support that includes wellbeing and soft skills development.

These programs help students stay in school, pursue higher education, and prepare for future careers. In FY25, over 600 students successfully completed high school. Beyond academics, initiatives focused on confidence-building, communication, time management and future planning.

Creating employment pathways

Programs funded with several global partners–including J-Life Foundation (Hong Kong), Construction Youth Trust (the United Kingdom), Goodman Mais (Brazil)–and partnerships with First Nations organisations in Australia, supported career mentoring, employable skills training, accredited certifications, apprenticeships, and direct job placements.

Ongoing support allows participants to settle into new roles with confidence and stability. Our partners prioritise practical, hands-on learning and consistently achieve strong job-placement rates, helping secure meaningful employment and build sustainable futures.
