The Goodman Foundation provides essential infrastructure to those most in need. We’re committed to making a tangible difference by supplying food, housing, clothing and essential goods to improve social and mental wellbeing, enable education and employment opportunities, and provide disaster relief.

We’re proud to work with some remarkable community organisations around the world, united by a shared goal of creating long-term, positive change for people experiencing disadvantage in the markets where we operate.

Deepening our commitment

In 2024, we launched a new strategy to guide the Foundation’s work through to 2030. It’s shaped by key principles of impact, innovation, collaboration, prevention and systems change. We also became a Public Ancillary Fund under the Australian Charities and Not‑for‑Profits Commission, further strengthening the impact we can make.

Our first donation in 2004 to OzHarvest set us on a path to becoming a founding partner for many of the organisations we work with, helping them establish and grow. Since 2020, we’ve made significant progress towards our 2030 community investment goal of $100 million, with $72.5 million distributed by 30 June 2025.

We recognise our responsibility to invest wisely to achieve the greatest social impact. Our strategy is designed to align the Foundation’s work with Goodman’s business and commercial expertise, strengthening how we support our local communities. Our people are actively involved in the Foundation, offering their skills and knowledge to our partners, volunteering or fundraising for charitable causes they’re passionate about.

In FY25, the Foundation partnered with 40 not-for-profit organisations globally across our social impact program. This report highlights the milestones, achievements and impact of our philanthropic investments, shaped by our partners and the contribution of our people.1

Our investment in community partners builds capacity, strengthens systems, and develops people—creating sustainable foundations for lasting impact. In FY25, this support enabled partners to upgrade infrastructure, improve data and IT systems, scale operations, and enhance training for staff and volunteers, boosting organisational expertise to deliver programs for people facing complex social challenges. Together, we’re building stronger communities and shaping a future where lasting change is possible.

On behalf of the Board, we’d like to thank our partners for their commitment to tackling some of the world’s toughest challenges and to everyone at Goodman for supporting this important work.

Goodman Foundation Board

We’d like to thank Ray Kellerman, Board Director and Chair of the Foundation Audit and Risk Committee, who stepped down as Independent Chairman after nearly 20 years. Ray led the Foundation Board since its inception, playing a key role in the Foundation’s growth and its long-term social impact. This work built a strong platform for us to help drive positive change.

Alison became Chair in September 2024, and has been involved with the Foundation since 2007, joining the Board in September 2022. We look forward to the Foundation’s future as we continue to work closely with our partners to make a difference where it’s needed most in our communities.
